Lianas mom was killed in cold blood and Liana blames herself. She can’t get over her death and doesn’t have time to because she was voted in as Champion. She needs to get through her mourning process and learn her new role as Head of the Knights.
Now she has access to all knowledge of the tower so surely she will be able to find out who is taking apart Cypio. Right?

I read it in a night into being able to put it down . while the first few in the series where hard to follow at times I found that the later where easier as answers where found. Bella continues to engross her readers with well descriptive writings and a grand imagination. Just when You think you know where of might me headed it all changes. Your left sweating and biting your nails wondering what’s going to happen next.

This book wasted a lot of time with Liana contemplating her own feelings. She seemed to understand that she couldn’t totally understand or cope with her feelings. It was just so blatantly done, it was superfluous. This book could’ve been half as long and still gotten the point across to the reader; there was not much substance, and the story didn’t move along much. I was a bit disappointed.

2)the revelation that Sadie is (as suspected) is a part of a legacy
3)Dinah perhaps knows something about the mysterious outsider and what is beyond the tower

The first half of this book is literally Liana trying to get over her moms death. She kinda goes through the stages of grief but doesn’t really because she is just super depressed the entire time and then bam she is over it. This part wasn’t very well written and nothing really happens during this time.
The second half is a lot better. This half, Liana and her gang try to find all the parts of Cypio that have been taken. They already have the original Cypio in the form of Gray, and they just found that another part, Rose was inside the sentinel that killed Lianas mom.
Leo spends much of the book helping restore Rose to her original self because of the legacies torment that hurt her code so much.
The end of the book, they break into Sadies, the leader of the IT department. They find that Jasper, the medic part of Cypio, is in her terminal. The book ends with Liana and her gang having three parts of Cypio.
