Do AI’s Deserve Rights?

This entire book is a battle between ideas. Liana’s believes that Ai’s deserve to be treated like people while Sage believes that AI’s are just machines that should only serve humans and humans should not serve them.

This debate has been happening since someone created a program that beat the number one chess player in the world(yes this is true, Ive done a lot of research into this for my computer science final).

While the AI’s at the moment are not nearly complex enough to say that they deserve to be treated like humans at all but major advancements have been made to make this an actual possibility. There is a robot right now that has become the best doctor in the world because it can take a patients words and know what to prescribe them.

There are more and more programs taking over jobs that people before never thought a computer could ever even take over that job, for instance driverless cars that are becoming more and more likely to be a true thing that exists really soon.

Computers are taking over more and more jobs. We are even letting them take over more and more jobs. We as humans have become so reliant on them that our society would go into anarchy without computers.

This book series points out an idea that humans and AI’s can defiantly exist in harmony but people won’t like that idea and will try to take over control. The battle for control will defiantly in the relatively near future be who should have power, corruptible humans or lifeless AI’s?

We need to start looking at what we will do when AI’s exist now before they show and no one will be able to get a job simply because computers will be better than us at everything.
